The Nitecore HC65 UHE headlamp has a maximum output of 2000 lumens from the 8 x NiteLab UHE LEDs and is powered by a high performance 18650 li-ion battery (included). It is rechargeable via USB-C and can be fully charged in as little as 2 hours. Short for Ultra High Efficiency, the UHE LED is the first of its kind and ensures enhanced efficiency per watt, offering a brighter, more energy-efficient and long-lasting experience. The 8-core UHE LED gives the HC65 UHE a 14.3% brightness increase and 8% decrease in power consumption compared to the Nitecore HC65 V2 headlamp, plus an improved beam distance by 34.5%. The HC65 UHE has a 42mm light emitting surface, approximately 2.5 times wider than its previous generation. This design helps illuminate objects fully with high precision, enhancing safety during outdoor activities. In addition to the 4 levels of primary white light, the headlamp offers dual auxiliary lights; a high CRI white light which produces a realistic depiction of colour and is ideal for close up illumination, plus a red light to preserve night vision and for use in an emergency. The light is operated by a dual button user interface, made up of a power button to turn the light on and off, and a mode button to switch between the brightness levels and light sources. Lockout mode is available to prevent accidental activation.
